Orbico supports art
Orbico Supports Art is a cultural project and leading initiative of the Orbico Group, which was created to support and assist young artists developing in the field of fine arts.
The initiative, which aims to be implemented in other of the group's leading countries, aims to give artists a platform for expression as well as encouragement to continue to develop in the field of arts.
Plant the Pencil
Walking the green path of sustainability and the shared dream of a better future, Orbico Group created the Plant the Pencil initiative - an inspiring new sustainable project that was launched in early April this year and reached over 8,000 employees across the Group.The name of the project comes from his idea as we made and distributed special pencils from eco materials that contain seeds in their tip. After use, they can be planted to grow into a beautiful sunflower or daisy.Through this initiative, we hope to inspire our employees, and more, and contribute to a more sustainable and more colourful shared future for our planet! By investing a portion of our profits into the cultural heritage of the countries where we operate, we support the preservation and growth of their unique identities. This not only strengthens our bonds with these communities but also enriches the global cultural landscape, fostering mutual respect and understanding.
"The Heart of Orbico" is an initiative supporting sustainability and charity. Focused on recycling and environmental protection, it also contributes to the national campaign "Caps for the Future." The first collection heart was placed at one of our leading bases in 2021, and today, many sites, including some of our partners’, feature these collection points.
Value Day is our annual celebration of the Orbico family and our shared values. It honors the principles that form the DNA of our company and encourages all employees to reflect on the culture we build together. The day includes activities that reinforce collaboration, recognition, and the sense of belonging that drives our success across all businesses and regions.
Bees are essential pollinators, yet their numbers are declining globally. Through the "Orbico Supports Beehives" initiative, we adopt hives in key countries to protect these vital species. By doing so, we aim to preserve biodiversity and strengthen ecosystems, while raising awareness about the importance of pollinators for the planet.
In 2023, we launched Orbico Green Day to mark Earth Day and highlight sustainable practices across our operations. On this day, employees engage in hands-on activities, informative sessions, and initiatives that show respect for the environment. Green Day reminds everyone that even small actions can create meaningful environmental impact, and it will now be held annually to reinforce our commitment to sustainability.
